About Our Services...

Just a reminder to all that at Jimmy T's we offer the convenient service of vacuum sealing fish.. At only c2,000 (about $4) a kilo, for vacuum sealing or c3.500 (about $7) a kilo for vacuum sealing plus cleaning, this service is a quick and fairly inexpensive way to save and store fish after a successful fishing trip. We also have gels packs for sale and styrofoam coolers in store for one stop to package up fish to transport back home with you.

And if you're going out all day on a boat and you think you might get hungry come over to Jimmy T's and get some food before you go. We always have an array of salads ready made, but we can also have food prepared and ready to go in the morning for your boat trip. Just come in the day before and leave us your order. We open at 6:30am every morning except for Sunday (7:30am), so we're here bright and early for you to pick up. We can make anything to order including lasagna, fried rice, fried chicken, chicken wings, BBQ ribs, deli meats for sandwiches, and chicken parmesan to name a few favorites.

Also, if you're not lucky enough to be out on one of the fishing charters pulling in your own catch, we offer fresh fish in Jimmy T's daily. We don't always have it in the morning but if you come in the day before with your order, or even in the morning we can usually have fish for you by the afternoon... Tuna, Snapper, Seabass, Mahi Mahi, Grouper... whatever you need we can get it for you.

Catering and Private Chef At Your Service!

Jimmy T’s Provisions & Gourmet has been extra busy in the past week as more and more Jaco and Los Sueños visitors take advantage of our professional catering and private chef services. Between wedding receptions and group vacation dinners, chefs Jimmy T, Sean Bennett and Cinthya Chavez have been cooking up some delicious feasts, served by our well-trained and reliable service staff.

Last weekend, private parties on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings were a great success, featuring an elaborate sushi buffet -- fresh tuna, salmon, grouper and eel, served alongside our signature Japanese Soba Noodle Salad and Tuna Sashimi in a Teriyaki-Soy Marinade. Throughout the weekend, our chefs prepared fresh Lobster and Grade-A Steak for 25 guests in their Los Sueños home, and even served up a delicious spread including the catch of the day from the guys' fishing outing that same afternoon– fresh grilled grouper and cocktails had all of our guests smiling and satisfied.

On tap this weekend, we’re double-booked to cater a Wedding Welcome Reception for 50 guests at the Los Sueños Marriot and a private in-house party for a group of 17 guests from Washington DC, joining us now for a second time—happy to have you back! For the wedding Welcome Reception, it’s cocktails and Hors D'eorves tonight, featuring empanadas, mini-quiche, ceviche and mini-pizzas, plus full beverage service and wait staff. For the in-house party, we’re serving traditional Costa Rican with chicken and fish to kick off the weekend. We’re really looking forward to these great events!
